Continuous Professional Development (CPD) – should I be interested? Ideas, protocols, advice and change over time, new treatments and techniques come along and you, the client, deserve to receive the best treatment available.
I am member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)which means I am obliged to maintain and update my skills.
Each year, before I can renew my registration and insurance, I have to be able to evidence this.
Due to Covid-19 I have recently completed a course aimed at providing the skills and knowledge to ensure a safe environment to carry out treatments while following the latest published guidelines. This will mean extra precautions to protect both you, the client,and me, from potential exposure until there is further advice or information.
